The Coachmakers Arms

We just spent four nights at the Coach Makers Arms, and from the moment we walked in, we felt right at home. The atmosphere was fantastic and friendly. We were shown to our room, which was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. There was plenty of hot water, a very comfortable bed, fluffy white towels, and a handy little fridge as an added bonus. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would highly recommend it. When we're in Wallingford again, we will definitely choose to stay here once more.

we were here in 2015 and I finally write a review. we were in the apartment above the bar. if that serves to store, the owners had just bought it and were in the middle of the updating of the accommodations. at the time it was pretty rough, but we loved it. it looks like they made it much more beautiful. the one thing that stands out was the owner (or was it the owner vater? we need to talk and he bought my drinks until the end. if we make another trek from Northern California, we will stay back.

If you're searching for a fantastic pub to visit, look no further. From the welcoming owner to the lovely dog, this place is a gem. Recommended by locals, we were not disappointed. They even provided covers for us when it got chilly outside, along with heated benches. These thoughtful touches made our visit truly worthwhile. This is definitely a pub worth seeking out!

The atmosphere is warm, friendly, and inviting. The attentive landlady adds to the homely vibe, making guests feel right at home. The rooms are stylishly decorated and impeccably clean. We spent a lovely evening and overnight here. A real welcome when we arrived. Great service and attention to detail. Lynn and her staff were lovely. Rooms were spotless, linen great. Supper in the bar and breakfast were fab. The homemade pizzas are perfect, we would highly recommend. Breakfast included in our stay was tasty and hot. Thanks for everything
