The Coachmakers Arms

We just spent four nights at the Coach Makers Arms, and from the moment we walked in, we felt right at home. The atmosphere was fantastic and friendly. We were shown to our room, which was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. There was plenty of hot water, a very comfortable bed, fluffy white towels, and a handy little fridge as an added bonus. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would highly recommend it. When we're in Wallingford again, we will definitely choose to stay here once more.

This cozy pub has a friendly atmosphere with locals and a delightful dog. Lynn gave us a warm welcome, and our room was comfortable. In the evening, we enjoyed a delicious pizza and participated in quiz night (which we expertly lost, pretending we didn’t want to win in case the prize was a case of beer!). Breakfast the next morning was a hearty full English, perfect for fueling us up for another day of walking. I definitely recommend this place!

We spent a night here while walking the Thames Path and stayed at the Royal across the street, which is also managed by Lynne. Lynne was incredibly welcoming, and the rooms at the Royal have been beautifully renovated. We pre-booked a cooked breakfast the night before, and it was absolutely delicious. During our stay, the weather was quite hot, but the fans in the rooms were fantastic for keeping us cool.

I recently stayed at this charming and distinctive pub located in a beautiful area of Oxfordshire. Lynne and Luke are excellent hosts, making the experience even more enjoyable. The rooms are lovely, and the food is outstanding. I highly recommend it!

I must really enjoy it since I go there every afternoon when it's open. Price per person: £10–£20. Food: 5/5. Service: 5/5.
