We visited this pub a few years ago and it was vibrant and quirky with funky music and light shows. However, when we returned last week, the place had deteriorated significantly. It was virtually empty, with sky-high bar prices that made the experience even worse. The fittings and seating were dirty and unkept, and there was no atmosphere at all. The service was also poor, with a miserable bar person who seemed uncaring. It's now just a shell of its former self and we won't be returning anytime soon.
Four of us ordered Paninis, at £9 each with a drink they were served in a carboard tube and tasted like it) and not on a plate, they were very boring with no taste, we had ordered ham and cheese but the filling only covered just over half the panini with a very thin slice of cheese and wafer thin ham, I assume they are bought in like that and not made fresh, we will not be returning
We ordered steak pie and chips, but were informed that only chicken was available. When the dish arrived, it was served in a basket with the chip paper still attached. It felt like a bit of an insult to our intelligence! The only positive aspect of this restaurant is its location. Overall, we recommend avoiding this place.
Went today, gone down considerably. For a place close to the riverside the food was dreadful . A chicken panini served in a card board tube, hardly any chicken and a chorizo sauce . The wife left hers the standards have dropped. Place needs a bit of TLC as well..22 June 24.

We were going to eat here, but after ordering drinks from a member of staff with a bad attitude and then looking around at filthy surroundings, decided not to eat and never to return. If the bits we can see are disgusting, What's the kitchen like ?
Rip off coat of mushy peas and gravy £3.00 each spent £9.00 for three small pots silky us didn’t look at cost before ordering
Awful food was disgusting and overpriced. The place needs a good clean. Toilets disgraceful. So disappointed
Popped in on a Saturday night was very busy and the atmosphere was cozy. Bar staff were exceptional
