The Coffee Bean Tea Leaf

I've been visiting CB for 21 years, including both Brea locations—the original one on Brea and Randolph streets and now the one on Brea Imperial. The manager, Dennis, and his assistants, Mary and Chandler, have always provided outstanding service. In fact, I used to bring them a box of PK donuts on Sundays just to show my appreciation. Since Dennis has left the company, it seems a new team is taking charge. I hope the new staff learn from their predecessors because if they do, the restaurant will continue to be excellent.

We ordered a salted caramel coffee, but they forgot to include the caramel. It was disappointing! By the time we noticed, we were already down the road. Since we don’t live nearby, it wouldn't have made a difference if they had offered us a free coffee. I called to inform them about the mistake, but they didn’t seem too concerned. Their response was, "I don’t know what you want me to do about it." Overall, it was a very disappointing experience.

Anyone who knows me is aware that I've been a fan of CBTL for over 20 years. Even after moving away, I would have it delivered because I adored it. However, I regret to say that I’m done. Every time I visit a different location, the drinks just don't taste right, so I've made the decision to stop going. Since the change in ownership, something has definitely shifted. It's disheartening for all of us who were loyal to the original CBTL.

The cashier, Skyler, was quite rude and abrupt. When I brought my concerns to the manager, she simply stated, "We're really busy," and then walked away. Being busy doesn’t justify treating customers poorly. I had already placed my order, but I ended up asking for a refund. This establishment does not deserve my hard-earned money or patronage.

Showed up at 5:30am and the place wasn’t open. It states that it opens at 5am. A girl was there looked right at me didn’t even Acknowledge me. Then after that someone else open up the drive through. But the girl at the drive was very nice. It would be nice to be on time. There where three other cars there but left.

They usually burn half my bagel every morning. I won't be asking for it toasted anymore. They also don't care to ask if you want your coffee hot or iced, and assume which. I also order a soy coffee and they gave me whole milk...

Friendly and courteous. They did get my order wrong in the drive-trhu through. Went in to have them fix it, which they did without hesitation. But it took twice as long as when I was In the drive through to begin with

I love the Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf Cafe in Brea on Imperial Highway. The one in Santa Ana off of 17th Street the customer service you get is poor, and the attitude of the service attendees are really rude!

normally this bean is good but this time my chai tea had all types of stuff in from pieces of cinnamon to pulp of some sort.
