I spent the weekend in Buena Park visiting Disneyland and the Orange County Fair, but now it’s time to head back home to Sacramento. I’ve always loved Coffee Bean Tea, ever since I first tried it in my early twenties while visiting Santa Monica with friends. This particular location is excellent, conveniently situated near Magic Mountain. It’s easy to get to, with a drive-thru and a spacious interior that offers plenty of seating. The service is swift, and the staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. I visited this restaurant's drive-thru on Thursday, and I had a very disappointing experience with the customer service. The barista who assisted us, named Red, was quite unfriendly. We placed our coffee order, and after waiting in line for a few minutes, we asked if we could add a bagel and a butter croissant, but she seemed irritated by our request. When we reached the window, we waited for her to inform us of the total amount, but she never did. Instead, she rudely asked whether we were paying with cash, card, or the app. We didn't receive a receipt, and she ended up swiping our card twice.
This restaurant is one of the top coffee destinations in the area. My favorite drink is the Iced White Chocolate Latte, which I believe has superior flavor and caffeine content compared to Starbucks' Iced White Chocolate Mocha. The only drawback is that the drive-thru service can be a bit slow, so be ready for a wait. They also offer a rewards points system through their mobile app, so I highly recommend downloading it to make the most of it if you're a regular customer.
If I could rate 0 I would. RJay and Ricky were awful Saturday night towards me. The place closed at 10pm and I arrived at 9:52. They refused to serve me in the lobby and drive thru. Even after asking to just wait to close the register for 2 more minutes. They told me to go to Starbucks. Much better service from Christian at Starbucks. Every man working that night was rude, disrespectful, and just worried about leaving. No customer service skills, no patience.

The Coffee Bean Tea Leaf offers excellent beverages and a welcoming atmosphere. The space is clean and provides plenty of outlets for working. The menu is comparable to that of Starbucks.
I had a blueberry scone, a large Malibu dream, and some overnight oats. Everything was delicious! It kept me energized for several hours while I sat with my daughter in the ER at UCLA.
I just had one of the best iced coffees in a long time. The Cold Brew Vietnamese Coffee was amazing—perfectly balanced with just the right amount of coffee and condensed milk!

I usually use their drive through on my way to work. CBTL is better than Starbucks hands down. Definitely try this one out as they make drinks fast and are very friendly.
