Christmas Day You delivered an outstanding meal. Thank god Boris let us in this year. We’ve been going to the Coppermine Crook as a family of for the past Christmas days except Dec when the scientists decided we’d all pop if...we dared to celebrate Christmas lunch as a family. Well ladies and gents the Atkinson’s want to publicly thank you all personally for your hard work and for your service with a smile. We all really appreciate everything you did for us this year, the atmosphere and amazing food made this year better than any other, thank you also for allowing us to reconnect with our nearest and dearest on what is the most special meal of the year!! I’m most definitely a food snob, and I don’t mind admitting it, The Coppermine Crook serve fantastic quality food at a fantastic price. We swapped to the Coppermine after our regular pub started charging extortionate prices for Xmas day. The fact that you charge such a reasonable price for Christmas Day really is to be commended. The meal this year was amazing as always, we started with Prawn Cocktails belly pork, then followed with Beef or Turkey and we all finished off with Christmas pudding except for my old father in law who couldn’t resist the trio of puds. The meal was outstanding but I also feel we need to give a special mention to the staff, some familiar faces as well as some new, each and everyone of you smiling. Thank you so much for giving up your family Christmas Day to serve ours and many others, the pub was packed, not a seat to be had yet all Covid Rules followed and with OAPs we felt completely safe. We really are so grateful you gave it your all to give us another Christmas Day to remember. Food Drinks Atmosphere Staff service Even the owner waits on tables, she doesn’t stand behind the bar lording it up like many, she’s hands on making sure we all had a day to remember. We can’t thank you enough Coppermine Crook. I’m sure we’ll see you many times throughout but as our deposit is already paid. Hi. Four of us booked a table there last Friday . Upon entering the very clean premises we were greeted to a room full of happy people and a lovely atmosphere. we were shown straight to our table and after sitting down our drinks order...was taken and the drinks arrived within minutes. We then ordered the food x steak x burger and chips but i really fancied a curry. I asked if i could have a vindaloo curry that wasn't on the menu other places normally say they cant cook off menu on a busy night The waitress asked the chef and the reply was yes no problem. the food was amazing as was the curry the portions were massive and the staff were cheerful and professional. we all agreed we would be returning. then when you think things cant get any better we got the bill. excellent value . If your around the crook area you've got to try it and you wont be disappointed.

We called in for lunch and were made very welcome. The food was really well presented a roast dinner for husband and chicken souvlaki for me. And it tasted delicious. We really enjoyed it. The staff were friendly and there was a nice atmosphere...in this lovely, country pub just outside the town. I'd been wanting to try this pub for ages, and I'm already planning when we can return.

Great food with a menu that has plenty of choice. Staff were friendly and efficient. Well stocked bar. Lovely atmosphere. So nice to be able to have somewhere local to have a nice meal! Definitely will be back soon to see Anne and her team....

The pub was recommended by a friend. I had Sirloin steak husband had t bone steak. Really disappointed everything cold and just thrown on plate. No side salad to compliment the plate. Won’t return. Poor for the price
