Winter’s warmers welcome! Time to review some of my visits since furlough/lockdown. I went today and not surprised to learn that the high standards of food and service have been maintained. It still provides all of the favourites (best Sunday lunch for miles) and the...specials can feature liver and bacon or mince and dumplings. An excellent veggie choice too don’t forget. Pro tip: treat yourself to a starter. The ham broth is a true winter warmer and comes with home made bread! The broth is lovingly made with the best ingredients and the taste takes you back to your grandma’s! It was exquisite. I’ve left a photo but it doesn’t do the flavours justice!

Booked a table for 1pm but arrived early at mid-day. We explained to the staff and they were very obliging and said not a problem and we were told we could order our food straight away. We had the Sunday roast which was plentyfull and...very tasty. The owners and staff were very helpful and friendly. Will definitely be back when next in the area

I came in with my father and my sister. Our mother just died and hut kitchen was ingenious enough to host the funeral guard brunch. we went today to organize the watch and stayed at lunch. my father and I had both curry, chips and rice. I live in Australia and had no Chinese chicken cure in years was huge and tasty. can be recommended

Hidden gem, went here a couple of years ago, we live in Essex and visiting me mum, we had to come back, the Sunday roast is so so good and amazing value for money, thank you and will definitely be back Reserva una mesa ahora

World-Class Sunday Brunch! Excellent food all around! If you're in Whitley Bay, you don't want to miss this Gem! Feels like home, family-orientated staff, Chef is amazing!

Absolutely fantastic completely faultless. Aberdeen Angus beefburgers. 100% will definitely be back. Very friendly staff
