The Country Bumpkin

The food here is absolutely amazing. I've had many breakfasts, but this one stands out as the best I've ever had. The local produce is fresh and everything is cooked to perfection. Plus, they serve a great mug of tea! There's plenty of parking available, and the scenery is beautiful. This place is truly a hidden gem and definitely worth the visit. Seriously, you should go! The staff is wonderful as well; it's refreshing to hear laughter in the workplace, and they seem like a fun team. Service was excellent for dining in.

Probably the best brekkie in the area! Excellent quality and brilliant, friendly service. Note that some have given only one star because its not very vegan, which is very shortsighted and very unfair. Another had to wait in a queue for their coffee! perhaps the fact there is a queue is an indication of its popularity! Still, you can't please ALL the people I guess. I've used on numerous occasions and always been very happy, as have my guests! Keep up the good work!

Met up with a friend and had an excellent breakfast for lunch. Only open between 10am and 2pm but a super little cafe for drinks, cakes and lunch. Well worth a visit on your walks if in the area. Service: Dine in Meal type: Brunch Price per person: £10–20

I was disappointed to discover that the restaurant is now closed on Sundays. I used to visit regularly on Sundays, and the food was always excellent. It was always bustling with activity. Are there any plans to reopen on Sundays?
