I ordered a dish that cost around £8.95 or £9.95, and it was definitely worth it. For dessert, I opted for the Amaretto cheesecake, which was about £5 and delicious. My dining companion enjoyed a seafood pasta with shrimp, fish chunks, and a dill sauce, priced at about £11. She also had a fruit dessert that was beautifully presented in a terracotta dish, costing around £5.
In total, we shared two main courses and two appetizers, along with a large glass of wine and a bitter shandy, for a total of £38.65. I personally found this to be a fantastic value, and I believe it’s not only worth returning to but also worth recommending to others.
I was in many places in the countryman’s inn and was never disappointed. we went to Sunday dinner with two people who are bosses today, and even they said that there are 5 stars all the way away! jason and thunder are fantastic and their eating and hospitable are amazing. if they didn't try their Sunday dinner, please do as it was to die! they would certainly not be disappointed!
Great local pub, we visited and was lucky to enjoy dinner two days. The food is amazing, and lots of it. The locals are very welcoming and I'm sure that log fire is a hit in the cold weather. Highly recommend a visit here and have some dinner, you won't regret it xx
I stayed there with my family and found it to be a very warm and welcoming pub. Tony is an excellent host, and the staff is friendly and attentive. The food is delicious, the beers are great, and the rooms are quite comfortable. I definitely recommend this place!

we were here for a night in the family room that was slightly spacious enough for all 5 of us. w clean room with beautiful bathroom. eat delicious and hotel staff w helpful. I couldn't ask. in any case they recommend this place.
