I had to wait 20 minutes just to receive a menu, and then it took over 45 minutes for our food to arrive—probably longer if I hadn’t mentioned anything. After 45 minutes, they hadn’t even started preparing our meals. If you’re not a regular, you seem to be overlooked, and takeout orders take priority over those dining in. We didn’t even get asked about drink refills until the food was served. There was only one person taking orders and handling the checks, which I had to ask for. I wouldn’t recommend going unless you have plenty of time to spare; I essentially wasted almost 2 hours here.
Yum, Yum, Yum. Delicious beans with cornbread served prior to meal. I had chicken fried Chicken with cooked cabbage and onion rings. Moist chicken and perfectly breaded. Giant portions! Best Onion Rings ever! Big deep fried breaded onion rings with thick onions and crispy outer batter! Southern style cooked cabbage. Great meal, very reasonable prices and friendly attentive service. We will definitely be back.
I visited this restaurant one late afternoon, just before closing time, and they kindly allowed me to place an order. I was able to relax and savor their delicious food. The service was friendly as well. If you’re in Linden, be sure to give them a try—you won’t regret it!
Reeda's chicken fried steak is second to none. Her food is home cooked and always delicious. I always cross my fingers she has chocolate sheet cake on the nights I go to eat. It is a treat you won't forget.

Excellent food and service!! Home cooking at its best; get the meatloaf, mashed potatoes/gravy and chicken spaghetti plus cornbread and fresh rolls!! Great value!!

This place had such good down home cooking for a small place. Just wow! I was impressed! It was better than a Crackerbarrel.
