The Cow And Plough

This is a fantastic place to stay! It's incredibly comfortable, cozy, and feels like home. The owners are genuinely friendly and go out of their way to ensure you have a great experience. The breakfast is amazing and delicious. As a family of four who has visited four times already, we definitely plan to return. The evening meals and carvery are also outstanding, and the atmosphere is lovely. Highly recommended!

What a shame Once upon a time this used to be a good pub where you could get a good pint and was a good atmosphere, unfortunately all that has changed now. I 'm not even sure it 's still a Steamin Billy pub. Two light ales weighing in at £12.20 it 's safe to say I will not be coming back to this bar. Card only Rubbish crowd in there now, everyone else priced out. Food: 1

We had a great Sunday lunch here with each of us having beef, lamb and pork. Very quick, tasty with lovely cauliflower cheese. Not living here and coming up to take the child out for lunch (Uni) it was a great discovery. Will go again and we took the dog. Very polite and helpful team Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The food was delicious, and the service was exceptional. I particularly appreciated the outstanding service from the tall blonde guy with glasses. I would definitely return and recommend this place to others. Price per person: £10–20. Ratings: Food: 4, Service: 4, Atmosphere: 5.

I've only ever managed to enjoy drinks here because on the three occasions I tried to order food, I was informed that they had stopped serving, even though it was still within the advertised hours.
