Always a pleasure , even when busy they work find you a table Staff are friendly , helpful and smiling Yes they accept dogs and lovely to see a mix of people Only downside is car parking small but it’s worth waiting for Sad to see some reviews as every place has an off day but you speak to someone about it We had a fab breakfast eaten at leisure and all tasty

I had a Bacon Roll (cob) with hash browns, a culinary classic. It was great, but it was also £8. Yes, the view is nice, but the same dish (of equal quality and with more bacon) is literally half the price in nearby Spondon. Aside from the premium pricing this is a pleasant experience. Update 12 months later. Still pleasant, still pricey.

The Cowshed accommodated our large family group (19) at short notice. The staff were so friendly, helpful and took such good care of the group. Jo in particular was fantastic and we will definitely have our next get together there again!

We had an absolutely wonderful breakfast on the terrace! We arrived early, and it was filling up quickly by 1030 (on a Thursday), so arrive early if possible. It is well worth the price and the grounds are beautiful.

Ate here today for the first time. It was busy, but not overcrowded. Had gorgeous ciabatta. Service was excellent and this place doesn't skimp on staffing levels. Will go again. They also serve vegan breakfasts.

Food was delicious, , very friendly polite staff and sunny day so sat on terrace was so relaxing had a lovely time with my friend
