Easy to miss as it’s in a building that looks like a nondescript boring office building, but easiest way to find it is look for the big light up sign that says Cinema! Food was delicious and menu offers lots of unique and fun variations on classics like burgers, pizza, and poutines. I definitely want to go back and try more items. I had the curry and goat cheese poutine and it was delicious and the fries were SO CRISPY AND PERFECT! My friend had the crazy Canuck burger and loved it. Tucked away in a sunken downtown office building, this hidden gem is a great place to hang out and have the best poutine in the region. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, making you feel right at home. They have a courtyard that makes the restaurant feel very unique to other places for pub grub and a beer. Their poutine is always consistently delicious at both locations. This time we finally had the opportunity to try their fries straight from the kitchen as opposed to waiting for delivery since the pandemic started!
My son saw that this had a good rating and we are always looking at trying something different. So we took and chance, and wasn't dissapointed. The food did take some time to get prepared, but it was a Sunday at 2:30 and not much traffic in the area. But very good eats. The pizza had generous toppings on it and a nice crisp crust. The dry ribs are boneless and tossed in their canuck sauce which just added to the good flavor. Fries are spot on cooked to perfection. Will go back again when we're in the area.
The food was really yummy!! The staff were also very friendly, found us a spot really quickly and checked in on us during the meal to make sure everything was to our liking. my first review was a year ago, but we visited this evening directly before the comedy show at 7th we had a small hiccup, but it was addressed by the owner with ease. defines a stand-up type and a 10/10 for the type as it was treated. we highly recommend this place that the pulled pork and brisket is unrealistic. first review: simply one of the best burgers I have ever eaten in my life! absolutely the stop worth, here we will work on our way through the menu!
I travel lots for work and get to eat in a lot of places! Some days you want fancy, some days you want simple! But everyday you want something that makes you say wow! The Crazy Canuck burger is hot only huge but it is amazing! Service is fantastic! Definitely a must go to if you live in the area of are just visiting! I am a Five Guys Fan but will say with conviction…… this place beats it in all catagories!!
