updated and added stars came twice in the few weeks here, once for a quick drink in the beautiful beer garden and yesterday again to lunch. both of them were as one would expect as a facility as they were. the caffe latte was perfect as the lunch we had. I chose the chicken club sandwich that I can not only recommend very much, but also fill me up. it was very beautifully presented and tasted fantastic. the staff was polite and professional, although it was very busy, we didn't have to wait too long. well done again we have eaten at the cricketers often in the last few years and never had a bad meal or experience. that changed today to midday. we have a table easy to book with the phone and...
Took my wife for her 60th birthday surpize ,waited 1 hour for our meal which didn't come,the bar staff said the order went threw, and didnt realize we hadnt eaten .the chefs said they did not see the tab and went on there break.,so when you go to the cricketers just check what time the chefs are going on there breaks so you don't get caught out like we did. I will not be returning.
We had delicious meals with generous portions. They consisted of steak and chips with enormous onion rings and peppercorn sauce. Also from the special board the Barnsley lamp chop with mash and vegetables. Both meals were freshly cooked and piping hot. The service was spot on. Well done. Will be back again soon.
Great pub with delicious food. Good to see liver and bacon on the menu, with a very generous amount of scrummy gravy. And good choice of specials. Didn't try the pies but they looked tempting, so will just have to go again!

I met up with some friends for breakfast at this restaurant. It is located in a charming village with ample parking available. The food was delicious, the ambiance was pleasant, and we all plan to return in the future.
Lovely selection on menu and specials board. Attentive staff and prompt service. Everything clean and shiny. Great tasting food. Looking forward to going back soon.
