The chips are frozen not home made. They weren't at all nice. The BBQ chicken bacon melt was much lacking, not enough sauce although more was provided when requested. There was hardly any cheese. Not the usual tasty dish I'm used to. My husband enjoyed the tikka although complained that the poppadoms were chewy. Thought it would be nicer as Dinas is such a lovely area but unfortunately not. Staff were accommodating, the waiting time however was a little long.
We visited this pub on a trip to Dina's Powys to see family and were welcomed instantly, we were treated so well by all of the staff. Our family and their friends even came down on another day to watch the rugby and were very impressed too. Great food, great drink, great prices and friendly locals. We would definitely visit again
Called in for lunch. What a great find. The staff were really friendly. The food was freshly cooked and delicious. The deserts were homemade and seriously stunning. The owner was very attentive, and nothing was too much trouble. Prices were very reasonable. We will certainly be coming back for more.

This is a great local pub whether you're looking for a night out with friends or a family meal. The food and drinks are very reasonably priced, they have a great gin selection the staff are always friendly.
Ryan and Calum have transformed this place. We eat out at different pubs/restaurants every Sunday and this is one of the best Sunday dinners we have had. Service was impeccable too.

"Popped in at 2.15 pm on a quiet Friday- asked very unfriendly landlady if we could play darts- she refused saying it is only for darts team to use and that tables were booked. Only table used was no where near the dart board."
