A 9 out 10 rate I had a lovely stay at the Weatherspoon hotel. The staff was so lovely ,kind and welcoming us when we came to check in. We stay Friday till Monday as a 3 night stay. You have to go to the bar first to get person to check you in bec no one manning the reception. We booked a family room so our room was a bit bigger than the normal standard room size. We stayed in room 211. The was a lot of stairs and they was very narrow please bear that in mind but was ok for us as we was young and we got our daily exercise in lol. The staff at this restaurant were welcoming and accommodating, willing to go above and beyond. The food was excellent, the atmosphere was pleasant, and the restaurant was very clean. I would definitely recommend dining here.

Visited twice over the weekend Saturday lunch and Sunday eve, really busy both times service was good , lunch time wait for food acceptable. It’s a Spoons , good value and you know what you are getting

A busy place but staff seemed to handle the queues pretty well. We went in three times over three nights and enjoyed good quality gins at very reasonable prices.

When you're in the mood for a delicious and affordable meal, you know exactly what to expect. The pub could have been cleaner, but overall it was excellent.
