The food at this restaurant is overpriced. I have dined at many Greene King pubs before, but this was one of the worst meals I have ever had. I was very disappointed. Although table service was supposed to be provided, my partner and I waited for 20 minutes before deciding to go to the bar to order our drinks. It was clear that there was not enough staff and that other larger parties were being prioritized. The service was not great and the restaurant was understaffed. I paid £16+ for a beef burger, expecting a high-quality meal, but unfortunately, the burger was greasy and fatty, the chips were undercooked, and the cold sauce served with the burger was unappetizing. I do not recommend this...
I've driven past this pub many times en route to Worcester, never stopped off but always noticed how smart inviting it looked. Last week, I actually did stop off one evening . . . and was so glad I did!! The atmosphere was cozy, warm and very welcoming with candles twinkling away on all the tables! I didn't eat but I definitely will next time as the menu looked very appetising and if the plated meals I saw being served taste as good as they looked, I'll be going back real soon. I realised a week later when I ate at The Running Horse at Bewdley, that it's in the same group as The Crown, as is The Mare Colt at Kidderminster all Chef Brewer and all really nice places.
Had a booking today at 1pm for a meetup with friends, got a call at 11am to tell me that booking was cancelled as the kitchen was closed! Prompting frantic calls and re- booking somewhere else!! The person on the phone didn’t know whether we had been informed! We were always impressed with this place when we lived there but I assume that it isn’t being run by the same people as they obviously don’t know what they are doing
The food at this restaurant is incredible, the staff is extremely friendly, and they provide plenty of biscuits, water, and blankets for your furry friends! There is a large amount of parking on the pub site that is easy to access. It is also good for kids, with flat wheelchair accessibility to enter the pub and accessible tables. The average price per person is between £10-£20. I would rate the food a 5 out of 5.

The staff at the restaurant were friendly, but appeared to be very busy. It took over 10 minutes to receive our drinks, then another 20 minutes for our starter, and another 20 minutes before we were informed that our main course would take an additional 40 minutes. We were disappointed with the slow service.
The food here is great, although it can get booked up on a Friday and Saturday night. This is a dog friendly pub and has a really nice atmostphere.
