Extremely dissatisfied with our experience. We had planned to try the tapas featured on the online menu, only to find out it had not been available for weeks. Despite this setback, we decided to order from the main menu, but two of our dishes arrived cold and had to be remade. It took 6 minutes for someone to ask us if we wanted sauces with our meal, and even longer for them to finally arrive. There were other problems throughout our meal, and although we were given a discount on our bill, the overall experience was ruined. We have no plans to return to this restaurant.
We were delighted to see how full the bar was at the restaurant. The pub had a lively atmosphere. We were seated at a table in the bar area, which we preferred over the conservatory. There were plenty of staff members available. The service was fast. Although we had to wait a bit for my partner's main course, we didn't mind because we enjoyed sitting in the bar and soaking up the friendly atmosphere.
Was invited here to a special evening with a lady. The food was absolutely fantastic. Had the steak with all the trimmings and couldn't fault it. Steak cooked perfectly and peppercorn sauce was gorgeous and a generous portion. The young man who brought our bill was very friendly and humble and our waitress was sweet. Highly recommended for food and ambience.
We had a last-minute date night and decided to try the Crown. The food was incredible! We highly recommend this restaurant and can't wait to go back. Kudos to the chefs, and the staff are very helpful and willing to accommodate any request.

We stayed for 1 night in this lovely friendly Inn and followed it with a delicious breakfast, our room had its own private area with table and 2 chairs which would be delightful to sit out with a cuppa and a book in spring/summer
Had a great lunch today, really nice atmosphere in the bar area and all 6 of us enjoyed the food. Good vegetarian options and all meals had generous portions. Haven’t been here for a meal before but definitely recommend
Excellent accomodation, excellent food and a fantastic all round experience. We had a fantastic anniversary will be visiting again very soon. Would wholly recommend
Nothing was too much trouble and this was from the booking to the dinner. Service was very good and the food was plentiful and tasty. It’s was great to night.

My BLT was delicious as were the chunky chips. The service was excellent. No delay in serving our order. Everyone in the group enjoyed their lunch.
