The Dashwood And

We went to the Dashwood Arms for lunch as they had space when called ahead. I had Cajun Chicken Caeser salad which was excellent but enormous. It came with a whole warm chicken breast which was different. My husband had Mezze Platter which he enjoyed sadly the platter took a while to come out of the kitchen which is why the rating is very good rather than excellent. The wait staff were very attentive and helpful.

Absolutely fantastic service and food! We booked the Dashwood last minute for Sunday lunchtime. The lovely young woman on the phone was really helpful and flexible. The service throughout our meal was spot on. Food was amazing great portions, beautifully cooked and served. I am gluten free and that didn’t present any problems. We sat outside in really lovely surroundings. We will definitely be back!

We had arranged a Sunday walk in the area and decided to finish with lunch at The Dashwood Arms. There were of us so we booked well in advance and chose our menus in the week before the walk We arrived on time and...within minutes of sitting down, all of us were served our delicious Sunday lunch. Excellent service, excellent meal and excellent staff Well done Dashwood Arms, we'll be back

Called at the Dashwood as we were on a narrow boat holiday. We were given a table despite not booking and can only say that the meal ,service, wine and atmosphere were excellent. This is no ordinary pub.This is top class restaurant food. I can...see why the place starte filling up as the evening went on..Just superb.!

Attractive building with large car park to the rear. Plenty of outside seating, small bar and larger restaurant area. Only popped in for a drink but very welcoming with quick bar service. Smartly furnished, great atmosphere and very popular
