What a wonderful family-friendly environment! I really enjoyed the duck pond and the play area for kids. However, I wasn't too pleased to see some children chasing the ducks. It would be nice if they offered duck food for sale, as it would be a better alternative than the ducks eating leftovers. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent—friendly and eager to please. They were very accommodating. While I wasn't impressed with the roast potatoes, everything else was quite enjoyable. Overall, we had a fantastic time with family. Price per person: £30–40. Food: 4, Service: 5, Atmosphere: 5.

Sunday roast here is always a delight and somewhat has a home cooked feel to it. Hearty portion sizes and delicious veg served alongside. Table staff are very attentive and happy to support those with young families. Firstly the staff are the friendliest, most welcoming and helpful front of house I've ever encountered. Nothing a problem and everything with a big beaming smile. If I could they'd have all got a tidy tip. Nice play area for the kids, must be amazing on a summers day. Food was nice, nit spectacular and a little pricey but it's not a Harvester or Toby. Lovely pub, friendly helpful staff and delicious food. Came here tonight with family and had a great time. Recommend the smoker platter, the portion for the sharer was very generous and the meat was juicy and flavourful and the sides were aplenty. Perfect place for an overnight stay in a motorhome..nice pub with good food and nice service!..And if there are smaller children in the motorhome, the surprise is there! Parking in the in-house parking lot..WiFi available..everything is good! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I had an amazing night out at Madness! The cost per person was between £30 and £40. The food was fantastic, earning a 5 out of 5, as was the service, which also received a perfect score. The atmosphere was equally delightful, giving it a 5 as well.
