The welcome at this restaurant falls far below the standard of other clubs in the area. The fairways are poor and the greens are subpar, although they are in good condition. There is no ball washer and the tee markers are just painted stones that are not effective. On the hottest day of the year, after 9 holes, I requested a buggy. Despite the website indicating a cost of £40, they insisted on charging £50 and claimed they could not adjust the price because business hours were ending at 5pm. This lack of flexibility and poor customer service was absolutely shocking.
Our families take turns organizing a Boxing Day meal each year. Instead of hosting it at home like we used to, we decided to book the Captain's Suite at The Dukes last year. I had meetings with the Chef and Food and Beverage manager to plan the menu, and they did an amazing job. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. The staff, led by David Scott, went above and beyond. We will definitely be returning in the future. The Clubhouse offers stunning views of St Andrews Bay and is worth visiting any time of the year, even if you're not a golfer.
Had a great day playing with my 10 year old lad. Played on Thursday 7th April and we didn't have any other golfers in front of us or behind us the whole round. Lovely course and in great condition and my son preferred this course to The Old Course which we'd played a few days before. He managed to break 90 by shooting an 89 from the men's green tee's which meant we both really enjoyed it. It'll be back on our list of courses to play every time we are in St Andrews. Thanks for the great hospitality Dukes, keep it up.
Went in for lunch. No-one greeted us. Had to go up to the bar to be asked what we wanted! I said a table for lunch . Not shown to a table. Sat down anyway. There were 3 waitresses behind the bar doing stuff? After 15 minutes of no service we left. What is the aim of this place if nit to provide a service and encourage people who come to spend?? The place also looks like a bare room with tables and chairs. Nice view but very lacking in all areas. How long since the owner was in there??

Top-notch golf course with pristine conditions. The clubhouse has a very North American style and offers excellent service. The view from the clubhouse balcony is unparalleled. There are ample amenities, including a putting green, driving range, dining room, and locker facilities, all just a short 10-minute drive from St. Andrews. The modern parklands layout offers a fair challenge with multiple tee options. Overall, a truly upscale and exquisite golf course.
After playing the cursor before, I had not expected him to match turnbury and gleam that we had played in the week, but what a great healing is now. many of the group prefer to curse it on the above mentioned. had booked a private room to see the open in comfort, and the eating and drinks were fab. thanks to the staff for a great day.
This restaurant is unique and creative, with excellent amenities. The staff were attentive and knowledgeable. The trendy hidden lounge areas were a hit with the current crowd. The bar and menu offerings were top-notch for post-dinner drinks. While the presentation could be improved at times, overall it was a great dining experience.
Recently played two rounds of golf here and despite the heavy rain in the area, the course was in very good condition. The staff in the pro shop were very helpful and accommodating with good advice. Had coffee and rolls in the bar and service was pleasant and fairly fast. I would certainly return.

The service at this restaurant on the golf course was terrible. I recommend bringing your own lunch and drinks if you plan to play at Dukes.
