Brilliant Sunday lunch. Three courses for £15! We had an amazing lunch, just like your mother used to make. Lovely starters to choose from and very tasty. Could not believe the thickness of the meat and each meal came with a Yorkshire, roast potatoes and roast parsnip as standard. Excellently cooked vegetables and more than enough for the two of us. Also had a jug of gravy. Too full to eat a pudding but luckily they do a takeaway so we were able to have it later. Due to health reasons we haven’t been for months but this will definitely be a Sunday lunch destination. Well done to Paul the chef and thank you to the staff for the excellent service.
Hadn’t been here for a few years and so glad we popped in. 3 course Sunday dinner for £15 is amazing value. Proper home cooked food no frozen microwaved food here. Staff are brilliant. Such a warm welcome as soon as you walk in. The young guy behind the bar didn’t catch his name was hilarious. Total credit to the place. Would recommend and will defiantly be back. Brilliant allround
We had a fantastic evening and enjoyed delicious food at this restaurant. We started with the Fried Brie appetizer, followed by the sea bass and beef stroganoff mains, and finished off with chocolate brownies with ice cream. The service from the lovely team was exceptional, and we will definitely be returning regularly.
This is my new local and I have to say it’s absolutely amazing. They are just the loveliest people in there. I had a private party last night and the food was fantastic. Just before Xmas I booked 27 people in for food and they smashed that night too, everyone had a top night. Highly recommend to everyone

Excellent food. All courses were delicious . Great staff and lovely atmosphere. We each had a starter and the mackerel was delicious . Beautiful Sunday lunch and we were able to take the puddings home as no room to fit it in. Food cooked to perfection and always plenty of it. Well done everyone .
Excellent food. All courses were delicious . Great staff too and prices. Usually here for Sunday lunch but popped in for a Thursday lunch. Excellent choice on menu but went off Thursday special menu. Excellent. Will have to return to try other menu.
I went to this restaurant last night (Thursday) with my partner. We both enjoyed three fantastic courses at an amazing price. There was nothing to complain about - everything was excellent. We will definitely be returning soon. Highly recommended.
I had to come and try the food at this restaurant after hearing about the new chef, and I was not disappointed. The atmosphere was also great. I definitely recommend it.
