A fascinating exhibition of new work by Cambridge born, London based artist Ian Rawlinson inspired by place and memory. The exhibition runs from 3rd 28th October 2022 at the Edge Café. The preview takes place on Saturday 1st October from 5.30 8.00pm. JUNCTURE is the latest in a series of solo exhibitions inspired by Ian Rawlinson’s hometown of Cambridge. The imagery is drawn from places which have remained intact since the artist’s childhood, despite significant changes in the city. Prints and collages depict fragments of this vanishing landscape. The preview is on Tuesday 1st September 6 8pm. ABSENCE is the sixth in a series of solo exhibitions inspired by Rawlinson's hometown of Cambridge and focuses on places which no longer exist or have significantly changed since he lived in the city. Prints, collages and drawings depict fragments of a vanishing landscape. His personal history is an influence on the work and his search to find images which highlight all the change, form part of his ongoing investigation into ideas of place and memory. Booked table for 10 after tour of the stunning Cambridge mosque nearby..1 minutes walk .......we all had different meals and when I looked down the table everyone had eaten every last crumb! What a fab friendly place., with excellent choice of great food...would definitely recommend for light meals and great coffee

We have just relocated to the site next to the cafe. The staff are so helpful and the food is amazing. All freshly prepared and they will do special requests as well. Any thing from breakfast, brunch, lunch and afternoon tea, all very tasty. Reserva una mesa ahora

Poped in today 19/09/23 for a full English placed my order and a piping hot breakfast arrived 10 minutes later have to say it was absolutely delicious well done to Jo and the team as the service was excellent cheers lisa cambridge

A community based cafe. Lovely freshly prepared food on site. Great selection for breakfast lunch. The very kind friendly staff who are mainly volunteers are very happy to make to order. Cood coffee. Nice atmosphere. Great value.

This is a wonderful place to unwind. I discovered that on Friday the 18th, I tried to attend the open mic night at the cafe but it seemed to be closed. Can someone explain why that was?

Had a delicious vegan carrot cake, topped with lemon zest, and a black coffee to take away. Tasted great and ordering to take away was simple and safe Reserva una mesa ahora

Called in here for lunch. The ham and cheese toastie with homemade onion chutney was the best toastie I have ever had I'll be back.

This place is fab. The atmosphere is great, the staff are friendly and the food is good at a really good price .
