The Eels Foot Inn - Reserva de mesa

The Eel's is back on form. After a few years of it not being what it was, it was so good to feel it back on fire. The bar staff are so friendly and the food is so good. The haddock and chips were so good that we failed to persuade our boy that a full on fish and chip shop would be better for dinner the next night. He was right. They've got an amazing new pudding of cookie dough in an individual pan with ice cream on top. As a bonus, there's a jug of chocolate sauce. All so good and it's so good to see a return to form.

We have been visitng the Eel's Foot pub for decades during the course of walks in the suffolk countryside and, in particular have always loved the roast dinners served on Sundays. However sadly this time the food really disappointed. Meals were brought out one dish at a time for a party of 6 people so we were not able to eat together and everything was poor quality. Such a shame. Such a disappointment.

Re opened, great setting and drinks as usual. Food however very basic and overpriced oven chips and cheap ingredients with a massive mark up. Need to up their game in terms of the food, used to be much better years ago. Could only recommend for a drink at the moment.

Lovely lunch and a convivial atmosphere in the pub with kind service and a log fire burning. We liked the cupboard of board games to try out while we were waiting. Kevin also rescued us when we got stuck crossing the flooded river at the Eastbridge! Reserva una mesa ahora

Wonderful hospitality from Kevin at The Eel's Foot today! After a fab meal, he came to our rescue supplying bin bags and towels so we could walk through flood water back to our cars! Thank you so much!

Very very helpful landlord we were a group of 14 walkers and we stopped there for a rest. The pub was not open however he very kindly opened up for coffees and refreshments very much needed.

Nice to pop back to the 1800s from time to time. Log burning stoves, good food and beer, welcoming staff and great walks in the area

Closed for 2-3 weeks for change of tenant. Walked 3 miles because Las night online said it was open...
