Full disclosure: I attended The Empanada Club as part of a Yelp Elite event in which I was given two free empanadas. This review is not in any way influenced by free products, however. Additionally my friends and I purchased a dessert and their meals while we were there so we also financially did support the business. Our experience of the food is true to any visit of the restaurant. The service here is beyond kind. I hadn't ever been to this restaurant so I had questions about the empanadas and the employees were patient and so friendly as they chatted with me. first impressions: this place is a little hidden behind a very, very busy coffee shop so hard to get. but it is clean and welcoming. friendly. the food is good. very good. wein and beer to cheap trips. but note that the prices of the food are not displayed, they must see their phone they see the menu, there are questions about opening any item. a little time-consuming. but I mentioned that eating is good. there are no public toilets, so note that. not such a problem when they are young, but I am not so that this was a problem for eating, so we have not. overall we took our articles to go, it worked well. I have lived several years in the region cuyo in Argentinia, and these empanadas are the real thing. when I first visited and a bite in the ham and bee empanada I immediately took back to my days in mendoza. the baked empanadas are a regional thing, and I think they are much more shameful than their fried counterparts. every taste I tried is incredibly delicious and currently my favorite is the carne picante! the owners are super friendly and their engagement to offer a superior product shows! thank you for bringing the best empanadas that I had outside Argentinia idaho! It's a fantastic restaurant with delicious food. However, my only issue is that they charge extra for everything, including the sauce that should normally come with empanadas. I also asked for a glass of water, and they offered me a bottle for a fee. From what I recall, most restaurants provide free water. I hope they start offering complimentary water soon, and if they do, I'll happily return and update my review.
Tried most of all the empanadas on the menu and hard to say which one was my favorite because they were all delicious. The empanadas were freshly made and warm when served. Customer service was excellent. The gentleman in the front was very friendly and helpful. Met the owner and she was very welcoming, sweet and kind. The place is spacious, clean and beautiful. totally recommend this place.
What a fantastic restaurant! All the ingredients are fresh and made in-house from scratch. The crust is crispy and perfectly light, baked instead of fried, so there's no greasy aftertaste. The interiors are soft and savory. They also offer a nice selection of beer and wine. The outdoor patio seating is delightful on a warm afternoon. I will definitely be coming back!
