When I 'm out for a social, one of the things that is most important to me is the atmosphere. I think this starts at the bar. When the bar staff are friendly, know the menu and seem genuinely happy to serve, it makes such a big difference. The bar staff at the Volly are great. They can talk about the drinks on the menu, they 're up for a bit of a laugh and importantly, they work quickly. I 've noticed a few times staff cleaning or restocking when a queue has started to form and they 've instantly stopped what they 're doing to serve. what can i say … served by Cal, what a welcoming guy who went way out of his way to accommodate us, food was fabulous , credit too the staff. We won our experience in a raffle, generously donated by the manager. We would absolutely come back i cannot recommend this place and staff enough…. i would say our best roast dinner in Bristol guys you’re a credit to King street and beyond thanks Neil and family x
I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to this pub! There's ample outdoor seating to relax and people-watch. Inside, they offer an excellent selection of beers and ciders, all of which were well-maintained. A Delicious Sunday Roast I had in Bristol Docks earlier today, with a Glass of Cider on the side of course I had the Ultimate Meat Fest Trio Beef, Lamb and Pork an Incredible Taste, I really enjoyed it, definitely worth it in the end!
Massive selection of beers and ciders, main problem is picking which one. Friendly staff. Good street vibe sorting outside, gets very busy with all the pubs next to each other
