My wife and I had Sunday lunch at this establishment with friends that we hadn’t seen for many years. Our friends booked the table as we live in Leicester, and they couldn’t have chosen a better place to have something to eat. Our first impressions of this eatery were really good as we were attended to immediately on our arrival by a member of the inns friendly staff. This is fast becoming one of our favourite places to visit Sunday Lunches are exceptional served with fresh in season veg, hot and tasty Main menu meals are again tasty and look as good as they taste Nat and her front of house team have got it just right. A fabulous mix of friendly, helpful and professional Pub is lovely and clean, with a great selection on the menu both food and drinks
We booked the pub for our post wedding recovery day and the staff were so accomodating. The food is delicious, the drinks were cold and all of our friends and family had a wonderful time. Thank you for having us all day! It was a typical English pub experience and I highly recommend it. Shout out to Natalie and Natasha for their service.
This is a fantastic restaurant that we have visited multiple times while visiting our elderly relative in the nearby nursing home. We have enjoyed lunch, tea, and dinner on different occasions and the food and drinks were outstanding. The staff is incredibly friendly, helpful, and polite. We wish this restaurant was in our local area.

We went for a meal after searching online we took the dog, however it's NOT dog friendly in the restraunt, only the BAR... The Food is OK, but with growing teens £17 for just lasagne with salad didn't hit the spot. He was soon raiding out cupboards chips would be nice also. Haha ! Very clean. Lovely toilets. Great staff.
Such a friendly, welcoming place. An extensive menu with several versions of regional dish parmo as well as the usual pub classics. A family run pub with the emphasis on excellent customer service. Just wish we lived closer. Thanks for a wonderful evening.
Really gone down hill regarding the quality of the food, veg either raw or overcooked, watery cauliflower (frozen) tasteless sauce, looked insipid. Gravy was gloopy, not very warm and over priced. Didn’t do poultry, all meat was from the 4 legged beasts.
This is a charming pub that consistently provides a warm and welcoming atmosphere, which is why we continue to return. It is lovely and cozy when the fire is lit. The food is better than your average pub fare. Definitely worth a visit.

We ate here twice during a recent holiday in the area, a wonderful pub in a lovely village setting, very very nice food and reasonably priced, the staff were lovely, will definitely be back.
Stopped by for lunch time drinks whilst on Coast to Coast. Well worth the detour. Fantastic location overlooking village green. Brilliant staff.
