Return visit after 30yrs since we had our last boating holiday. Heard it had been in administration then reopened. Had Sunday carvery which was ok ish. Starter of crayfish was lovely. However they ran out of beef on the carvery a good 30 mins before end of service. Not good. Surely any roast meats left over could be used next day in sandwiches. There is a large passing boat trade you would think a cold meat sandwich with chips works. ? Also the chef carving really did need to give his face a joy ride and smile. Would we eat here again ? Possibly not. Such a shame as the setting is lovely.
It's a fabulous river-side pub. but we may have been unlucky on the day, the roast potatoes were not as they should have been, they were tough to cut possibly overcooked, and the carrots were very hard, now other people may be happy but each to their own, on previous visits, there were two choices of gravy this time one, also no homemade steak and ale pie, or perhaps not visible, maybe we were just used to the previous cooks? so we were somewhat disappointed, just wish we could have been more positive .
We moored up for our overnight stay and had the Carvery last Sunday. Was charged £20 for mooring but that was removed off our food and drinks bill so ended up mooring for free..Best Carvery by far, delicious tasty and hot. By chance there was live entertainment Chris Wilson..wow what an amazing singer..so we ended up spending around 5hrs in the pub. Well we was on holiday. Staff very friendly and attentive. We will pop in again when in the area.
We had a fantastic afternoon at this restaurant. We started by sitting outside and enjoying the beautiful view of the Broads while sipping on delicious drinks. Once inside, we all ordered different dishes and everything tasted amazing. The seafood sharing platter is a must-try, and my fish and chips had the most delicious batter I've ever had. This wasn't our first visit to this restaurant, and it definitely won't be our last.

This restaurant is conveniently located on the riverfront and offers friendly staff and great value for the money. The team goes out of their way to make diners feel welcome. The seafood platter is absolutely delicious and is something you will dream about. It is truly a satisfying meal.
Had a fabulous meal and the service was exceptional would not hesitate to eat there again. Previous years not good so glad that things have improved. Staff bent over backwards to help. Please get your website sorted out I’m sure it would bring more trade to you.
This restaurant is a fantastic spot to enjoy a meal while watching the boats pass by. The lunch menu offered great value and the food was delicious. The staff were extremely friendly, and the bartender was particularly pleasant.
First time visiting since 2019 and thankfully nothing has changed. Great food and service with a smile. Really recommended

We were going to go and eat here for dinner but were rudely kicked out, the staff were extremely rude. overall terrible
Nice location along the ways and easy access. Food was good but nothing special. Servers and bar staff were excellent.
