This restaurant ticked all the boxes! Superb food, service and view. We chose to try the Chef's selection with wine pairing to really see what this restaurant was able to do and we were blown away.It is one of the very best lunches we have eaten in Australia and with the added benefit of a window table and the wonderful attention of Kieran, the manager, our lunch experience was perfect. I was incredibly impressed by the Fish House when my boyfriend took me here on my birthday in May. The service was top quality, the food was amazing gourmet style (and was great to have never ending complimentary vegies with our mains!). My boyfriend had reserved a seat overlooking the Burleigh beach which was lovely to see the night skyline of Surfers in the distance. Very romantic. Of course the meals were expensive but you get what you pay for. Would come back again for another special occasion, thank you for such a beautiful evening.
The staff at The Fish House were fabulous, the wine list extensive with wines ranging from $60 upwards. Our entree of oysters and calamari were delicious, I had the Tooth fish which was $62 and it was disappointing. My husband had the whole snapper which had a great sauce and was lovely. I was disappointed that as a seafood restaurant they did not serve crayfish or a choice of oyster dishes.
Modest menu offering, obviously, fish selections and pastas. Good extensive wine list.The cooking on the fish is minimalist, and that's what makes each dish great. You can taste what the fish is about. Loved the king prawns, swordfish and crab risotto. And everything else.Restaurant fully booked for the sessions while we were there. Must book as there were walk-ins who were turned away.

Most expensive, underwhelming food we've had at a 'good' restaurant on the gold coast. Staff and setting are nice but thats about it. Save yourself a wad of cash and just go to a fish market and cook it at home!
My partner and I decided to treat ourselves and we were not disappointed. We knew menu was pricey but quality was superb. If anything wine menu was a bit overpriced. Perfect for a special night out.
Really nice food but as we had been to so many wonderful restaurants in the area that were not nearly as expensive with slightly better food we were a little disappointed.
Booked a table for two for my birthday dinner. Exceptional food, good service and lovely ambiance. This restaurant is definitely on my recommendation list.

One of the best restaurants i have been to. Very good value for money considering you are given complimentary bread and 3 sides.
We had an average meal. Expensive. Our main waiter was excellent. The other was not. The fish was overcooked. I won't return.
