The Floridian Cuban Sandwiches

We did not do the sit down but ordered Cuban sandwiches, spiced pork sandwich, a ham and cheese sandwich, and a black beans and rice to go. The bread is nice and crispy, plenty of meat, cheese was minimal. Good balance of mayo/mustard and pickles. It was busy, and service was efficient. We went here in a Thursday, so sure if us super busy on a weekend. The black beans and yellow rice were good. It is a good hearty lunch and fair priced.

Food was absolutely amazing one of the best sandwiches we have ever had, BUT, THIS PLACE IS ABSOLUTELY IN NEED OF A DEEP CLEAN ! JUST GROSS , staff was also less than enthusiastic that they had customers, almost seemed annoyed. Like we said if you just grab it to go, maybe the beat way to do this place. Let me say this again, I do not see how in the world in can pass inspection for how dirty it was.

The food was disappointing, especially coming for their Cuban sandwich. It was mostly bread, there was not much put inside the sandwich and the ends of everyones had nothing but mayo and mustard on it. The person taking orders seemed like he didn't want to be there. The building is a cute old school sandwich place with a small amount of indoor and additional outdoor seating.

The gent on cash register is very kind and nice, but unfortunatelly, you come here to eat the food and for that it deserves two stars. Cuban sanswiches are not made by a pound of ham, a thin layer of cheese and an invisible pork. An american can enjoy this but not latinos who knows about real cuban sandwiches. I was really upset with my sandwich. I ordered today. It was supposed to be a pressed Cuban. The bread wasn’t even pressed by the time I got the order. It was cold very upsetting. The keyword is Cuban. It’s supposed to be pressed very upsetting.

The food here is fantastic! The Cuban sandwich was outstanding—definitely the best I've had in the Tampa Bay Area. I really enjoyed the bean soup as well. The service was friendly and attentive, and the prices were very reasonable.

This is my first stop every time I come to Treasure Island. Sandwiches are fantastic and freshly made! The Cuban bread is amazing!

My favorite classic Tampa Cuban. Great meat to bread ratio. Perfectly pressed.

The Florida bean soup was delightful! It’s served with two slices of bread.
