My partner I have just returned from a 4 day stay at this lovely park On arrival we were impressed by the lovely gardens how well kept the park was Even though we weren't supposed to check in to our caravan till 4.00 ours was ready at 2.00. The caravan was gorgeous inside it was spotlessly clean and lovely and warm cosy. It had everything we could possibly need we had read that we needed to bring Towels,loo paper washing up stuff but EVERYTHING else was provided We had our 2 dogs with us ,so obviously our caravan was a dog friendly one but there wasn't a trace of past dogs it was as I said spotless. We used the shop a few times we found it to be reasonably priced very well stocked We also had a drink or two in the bar which we also found to be reasonably priced with a lovely varied menu. We had a takeaway meal one night which was gorgeous, although we believe that evening they had ran out of lots of the things on the menu. We must mention one member of staff from the bar/ restaurant her name was Stacey and she was absolutely lovely,friendly bubbly and yet so professional and fantastic at her job. We found all members of staff to be friendly and even when we initially booked our holiday we corresponded with a lady called Janette who was quick to respond to our queries questions. We would definitely return to this lovely park.
this is a beautiful park and the grounds are well maintained and very clean. the booked lodge was super, well equipped and spotlessly clean. all those we met were kind and very helpful. nothing was a disturber for her. Unfortunately, we only have a critique. a sauna, a gym and a steam bath were advertised, but not opened. when we asked ourselves, we were told that they were “not open at the moment”. might be a note to this effect on the website? but would definitely recommend this beautiful forest landscape.
The camp was well kept, and the scenery was lovely. I feel a lot of the lodges are very close to each other and overlook each other and don't overlook the beautiful scenery they have. I would have given it 5 stars, however they lost a star for the lodge being pretty rough. Overall the place was lovely, we just wouldn't stay in that lodge again and would stay in a different nicer lodge.
great location. the place is really picturesque. eating is good and the staff is brilliant. nothing is too much for them. my only guide is frightening to have a whirlpool. they are great, but they are located right next to the wall to their bed, so when the pumps in the night nobody can sleep as it vibrates through the head. other than that an amazing experience.
