Food, service and atmosphere top notch! Delicious breakfast Cali Bowl. I even bought a really cute beach decor piece for my house. Love that they promote local artists and you can tell the hostess (she may be an owner) knows her local clients the way she speaks to them. Having worked in restaurants, you can always spot a well run establishment. Kid-friendly as well... Great find, you won't be disappointed.
The BLT was the best I've ever had seriously. The thick cut bacon was outrageously good, obviously the expensive stuff. And the tomatoes were perfectly ripe and not bland. 10/10 sandwich. Love the location at the end of the boardwalk. Sit on the boardwalk or inside in the shade. There are benches and rocking chairs on the boardwalk. Fast service, super friendly staff. Awesome.
The food here is so good. This is a must visit for Point Pleasant. The breakfast sandwiches are stacked with everything you'd love and the food is fresh made to order. It is located right on the end of the boardwalk and open for breakfast and lunch. The service was fast and the staff was super friendly even during a busy afternoon rush. Would visit again!
The waiter passed by our table about 10 times and didn't ask if we needed anything, we were there for an hour and a half, when it only took us 30 mins to eat. But trying to get someone's attention for the check was impossible. Good food , good atmosphere, just needs better service. Always a great experience at The Food Shack! And what can be better than having breakfast listening to the ocean waves crashing right next to you! Our girls (2 3) love it because of the relaxed atmosphere. They can be themselves and okay and not feel out of place!
Rain or shine this eatery will brighten your day. It is cozy and clean. The staff was amazing and the food was perfect and amazingly fast. They do breakfast and lunch. Check the hours on the google listing. We are excited to go back soon!
The food was good when we got our food. It took a long time to get pancakes. The staff was friendly and attentive. Wait time was high for the food ordered.
