The Forum Frier - Reservar una mesa

We love fish and chips. Had to try it after the article in the Echo. Walked the dog in the nearby nature reserve before the shop opened. Short wait whilst the fish was fried to order. Wasn't disappointed. Freshest cod and non greasy batter. Best chips ever. A flask of hot tea the next visit will finish the meal perfectly. Well worth the 20 minutes journey. Now on our morning dog walk circuit.

The food at this restaurant is delicious, but the portions labeled as "large" are quite small compared to other options. We ordered two large portions but felt disappointed with the amount of food we received. It's a shame because I usually frequent another local fish and chip shop where the portions are much more generous.

We were six; it was the evening of Good Friday, so we reckoned that it made sense to book a time for us to go to the Forum Frier to collect a pre-ordered meal of fish. As expected, there was a long queue of customers, but we could straightway advance to collect our bags of food. And it was plentiful and delicious.

Once again amazing food I cannot fault this fish and chip shop we had a family meal I had fish that was amazing chips perfectly cooked and everytime .y partner goes in he always says how amazing the staff are and polite and attentive can't fault at all

Always hit and miss, sometimes good sometimes average. Cod often more batter than fish. Unsure why the revamp has left less inside space for people to wait. Expensive without the consistency of best quality. This is only my opinion.

Only came in for a bag of chips and curry sauce. And honestly they were the yummiest chips I've had for years from any fish and chippy. 10/10 perfect quality and perfectly cooked and the curry sauce was perfect too good job guyss

Trip advisor is unfair in its old reviews prior to the present owner ,the standard and quality of the fish ,chips and other items is excellent,the staff are friendly and obligeing,definitely the best in town

This restaurant review is completely terrible. I waited 40 minutes for my fish and chips, only to receive fish that was moist and soggy chips. I do not recommend anyone to visit this chip shop.

This chippy is fantastic with its crispy, non-greasy chips and generous portions. I definitely prefer it over the other one in town.

Just when you think you have found the Chip shop of all chip shops.Bam…they change the potato’s and now you have perfection.
