The Fountain Inn

I arrived at this pub at noon on Friday March 24th with two friends, all on bicycles. Unfortunately despite the blackboard outside saying the pub opens at 12 there was no sign of life. Three vehicles visited, their occupants hoping like us to go in the pub. So no review this time.

This is a lovely pub, quaint and secluded location. However the limited selection of drinks and poor quality of food let's it down. The bar staff are friendly and the interior and garden is above average for a pub of this location.

We had the most amazing Sunday lunch. The food was superb! I can recommend the home made pie; I've never had a pie so packed full with delicious filling. Really good service too. We'll be back soon.

Lovely local pub under new management. Homely bar area, and a modern conservatory extension with good beers, and a full food menu

Didn't eat on last visit. Superbly run pub with a great village atmosphere -x
