We had a wonderful experience at the Fox and Hounds. We made a reservation to celebrate a birthday and the food was amazing! Two members of our group have dietary restrictions (gluten and dairy free) and there were plenty of options for them to choose from. The staff were incredibly accommodating and the children's menu was fantastic. The service was exceptional and we felt very welcome, even with three young children in tow. The atmosphere was friendly and we also enjoyed meeting some of the locals.
From the warm welcome to the great service to the delicious food, The Fox and Hounds definitely hits the mark. I had roast beef and my wife had roast pork both from the local Knightwick Butchers, just down the road. Everything was cooked to perfection and accompanied by great local ales and ciders. What a contrast to our last Sunday roast at Rick Stein's Cornish Arms. This was 10 times better! The team at the Fox and Hounds could certainly teach Rick a thing or two about quality food and service!
During our visit to the area, we decided to dine at this restaurant based on the positive reviews. The food was excellent and they had a variety of drinks to choose from. I ordered the 'proper pie of the day' and it was absolutely delicious! I can't recall the last time I had a pie that was so filled to the top with filling and surrounded by flaky pastry. The chips were also amazing! It's too bad we're not locals, otherwise we would definitely visit more often.
Visited today for lunch with family, one of which was gluten and lactose intolerant. The menu catered perfectly for her needs and she was so pleased that the beer battered fish was made with a gluten free batter. We were all delighted with our choices, that were delicious. The service was also excellent and we’re all keen to return and work through the menu.

We went for Sunday lunch and had a real feast. A well cooked roast with plenty of vegetables filled us up so we had no room for puddings. Staff are very friendly and efficient. We will be back soon.
Amazing pub in a rural location, decided to reward ourselves with a quick pint after a countryside walk in the heat. Good selection of draft beers/ales complemented by superb service from lily

Good service, delicious food and dog friendly. The most delicious cheesecake you'll get for miles around. A great all-rounder.
