We have been to Hungry Horse at Catterick Garrison a few times over the past few years and the food was nice and the service was great, however over the past year we have been very disappointed. They never seem to have a full menu and the last time we visited the food was burnt and inedible and requested our money back. We've been visiting the Foxglove ever since we moved to the area at the beginning of the year. The staff are all so keen to help and happy to see you; it really makes a welcoming atmosphere. The food is also always fantastic. The portions are generous and always come out piping hot and beautifully presented too. Our compliments should really go out to the chefs working on the day of our latest visit Ciaran, Jack and Lee. We accidently ordered our dessert quite close to the kitchen shutting for the night and it still came out looking perfect clearly they take a lot of pride in their work! Good standard of food and service. Nice atmosphere accept when the football is on, but that's only because I'm not into it, but lots of big screens of you like that. Was served by Amber who seemed to be the only one working , the two employees behind the bar were more interested in each other.
