The Galley - Reserva de mesa

I went to The Galley today to try and prove the traditional English breakfast. The restaurant is small in size, with few tables inside plus another few outside. At the time of my arrival (around 12), there were the owner and one other staff person attending the costumers. After around 10 minutes, I was served a big and delicious breakfast, that mind you, served as my lunch. The sausage, bacon, beans, egg, black pudding, potatoes and mushrooms were well cooked with little to no seasoning (which I take it as a normal procedure). I have been patronising the wonderful little gem of a neighbourhood cafe for a couple of years now often go daily! Their breakfast is without doubt the best in the area and the sausages and bacon are amongst the best I’ve tasted. Andrew and his team of assistants are friendly and the place is scrupulously clean too. If you haven’t discovered it they do Uber and just eat. It visit after lockdown and you won’t be disappointed

A new addition to our neighbourhood, The Galley has only been open a few months but we're already regulars. The food is great and there's a good variety. They will make you something to order if they can. There's a very genial host and it's a lovely place to sit and spend a morning. They also serve lunch and my husband speaks very highly of the burger.

Had a fantastic cooked breakfast here. Everything on the plate was good quality. Highlights included a high quality sausage, perfectly cooked egg, and extra tasty buttered toast. The fresh orange juice was superb and the coffee was very good too. From someone who is fussy about a good English breakfast, I would definitely recommend this cafe. Reserva una mesa ahora

Every Thursday we order from this lovely little cafe and they ensure our food is always ready and piping hot on arrival to collect. We work for a school and the extremely reasonably priced, yummy on time food means we can get back and eat in good time. They are so lovely and friendly and the food is fresh and delicious!

Some of the food here is good, but some is subpar. The Hollandaise they use is a dry packet mix with no flavour, and the meatball sandwich doesn’t contain many meatballs. They also taste suspiciously like they are out of a tin. Hopefully the menu will develop and improve.

Since lockdown we have become a more frequent visitor to this place. A real hidden gem. They do the best Chicken and bacon ciabetta with avacodo. A sandwich that is full of flavour and plenty of it. And yes I have my weekly treat. Worth a visit!

Very welcoming, ordered quick even though it was busy. My ciabatta with Mozzarella, pesto sun dried tomato was lovely. And had a double espresso as-well. The customer service is second to none! Very happy! Will be returning! Reserva una mesa ahora

This is our local cafe and it’s fab. The owner and his family are good people and provide a wonderful service. I have been here with my toddler, with my friends and with my family and I am never disappointed.

Amazing cafe! good service , not expensive food and nice and cosy. I would recommend this fantastic place to anyone ho enjoys traditional food
