I have been to the café several times in the last couple of months. The first time I enjoyed the scones with jam and cream. Just melted in my mouth. The second time I went back I took my in laws and I had the quiche. It was the best tasting quiche I have ever had. The third and most recent visit, I took my Mum and again I had the quiche. Just love the atmosphere of sitting within a garden and surrounded by nature whilst enjoying delicious food. It doesn't get much more relaxed than this. Service is great and staff are always friendly. Would highly recommend this café to anyone.
Went for a lunch catch up with family and friends. The atmosphere was lovely, there are plenty of tables outside and inside. The food lovely, real ham in the croissants (not processed ham). The focaccia I had had heaps of fillings so very tasty. My friends also said that their food was also great. I suppose the best compliment we could give was the plates went back empty. It was nice to be able to sit around for a while (2 hours) and catch up without feeling that we were taking up valuable tables. We also enjoyed our coffee too.
The Garden is a charming setting for couples or groups. Some tables will comfortably seat up to 15 people, under cover and well presented. The fare is cost-effective, delicious and so very fresh. Bookings are essential as the venue can be bustling with restaurant goers. I will definitely return with my group as we had a grand time. The staff are very courteous, attentive and accommodating.
While visiting Mary Cairncross Reserve we have stopped off at this little gem a few times now and always a delight. Great little shop for all things household and gadget wise. The menu is hearty and varied also reasonably priced with good portions. The garden centre has varied flora with many local varieties and the usual pots and urns, etc., to put them in.

I went for lunch and a walk around the gardens. The food was delicious! We ordered the chicken focaccia and chicken vol-au-vent, which were both tasty. I really enjoyed the garden atmosphere, with options for indoor and outdoor seating.
I found out that one of the staff won this awards. Great opportunity and shows this small cafe can affected the community Thank you for the special mushroom crepes and flat white. I definitely will come back.
I just finished lunch at this restaurant, which also includes a homeware and garden store. It is a tranquil and pleasant place with a peaceful atmosphere, perfect for a relaxing meal.
Stopped by here on a whim for breakfast. Did not regret it. Would recommend the scrambled eggs on toast, which is what I got. Ate out in the gardens. Indoor seating also available.

Very Interesting and good food.....well worth a visit......so much better to have a place of character to enjoy your meal in.
I went there based on the locals review and I found it cute garden and beautiful service near the fire place this winter
