The Gate Bricket Wood

Iv been coming to the gate for many years but then it closed for several months but obviously re opened and been here a good few times. Each time myself and company have dined it has been without fault. The garden and surrounds are a lovely place to bring children especially on bbq afternoons. The staff manager and all customers seem friendly and approchable and are happy to assist. The lavatories have been always clean as with the pub and the gardens very well maintained. There is a nice selection of ales bitters and beers to choice from. Good food for Sunday Lunch. Generous portion, well cooked and presented. My only complaint would be served on cold plates. Waitresses very efficient and helpful

enjoyed the food goo value but the service was slow if not snails pace having to ask for drinks to go with the meal is crazy
