We made a reservation for four people for a late Sunday lunch, which I would recommend as the restaurant was very busy. There is a large parking lot at the back of the restaurant. Upon arrival, we were promptly seated at our table, our drink orders were taken, and we were given time to look over the menu. We ordered 3 roast beef and 1 roast leg of lamb, which came with seasonal vegetables. We also ordered a cauliflower cheese to share. The food was served hot, well-presented, and delicious. Disappointing experience at this restaurant. We booked a table for dinner and were seated at a table that was not ideal for three people. The starters were okay, but we were disappointed with the wine selection. We ordered pizzas, two of which looked undercooked and one was missing the advertised goats cheese. When we brought it up to the waiter, they confirmed the mistake and offered to remake the pizza or add the missing ingredient. We opted for a new pizza, which also looked undercooked. Additionally, we were charged for a more expensive bottle of wine without being given the option to choose. After clarifying the situation, the bill was adjusted accordingly. Visited The George for lunch with my mom, dad sister for my dad's 90th birthday lunch Friday 19th Jan. From the very first moment, all the staff were welcoming, pleasant, polite helpful. All the food we ordered was fabulous. I had the vegetarian burger, beet based with a Mexican twist, and it was really very delicious. As was the sticky toffee pudding afterwards! Our waiter was attentive helpful throughout our lunch and at the end brought out a small cake (we provided) along with candles; and we all sang happy birthday (quietly). Thank you to The George for a wonderful lunch! Highly recommended!

Wow! We had my husband's 70th birthday party at this restaurant and it was amazing. I can't recommend it enough. The staff were incredible, going above and beyond to ensure everything went smoothly. The food was outstanding, thanks to the talented chefs. We visit this place regularly and the staff are always friendly and helpful. We absolutely love it here. Reserva una mesa ahora

I visited George Inn for dinner from London and to say that the dinner was good is an understatement. The food was so delicious compliments to the chef. The customer service was great, Jasmine Thomas served us with a smile and were very professional in attending to us. Thank you so much I look forward to visiting again.

I can't thank The George Inn its staff enough for great venue to host wonderful wedding reception for my son his wife. We had the rooms booked out for family they were so welcoming filled with kind homely touches.

Excellent food and service on arrival and during the meal, could not fault anything the beetroot and red pepper burger really good, parents enjoyed the steak pies. A very big thank you

The pub is lovely, food and drinks are very nice. Just two issues, 1) seem unable to serve a pint of real ale, always has an inch of froth collar and 2) do not accept cash. Why? Reserva una mesa ahora

We went for dinner at George inn. I had a lamb gourmet burger which was lovely and cooked to perfection. The service was d atmosphre was excellent I would visit again !!!

Efficient, wonderful attentive service. Fabulous fish chips. Delicious carrot walnut cake for afters. Staff very friendly and professional. 5 Stars.
