the food was good but we weren't told from the start that there be a hour wait for food to come out due to a large party so waited a hour for our food had to ask a waitress how long it going to be.the roast potatoes were too soft and could of done with abit more cooking.nobody came to check on us to see if we were alright.but apart from that all good Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4

Always a nice place to go in the area. The vibe of a village pub on a bonfire night with decent food and a selection of wines by the glass that goes beyond the usual Pinot Grigio and Chardonnay Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Beautiful country pub. Mushroom soup was excellent. Unfortunately, the bread was dry hard staff didn't seem particularly interested when I asked them about it. Portions very good.
