Great Restaurant with Amazing Chicago History! The Food and Beverages were absolutely wonderful. We were celebrating my parent's birthdays 83 and 88. Perfect for elderly, access and layout. Mom and I enjoyed a Pineapple Upside Down Cake Martini to start. She and my Dad both had the broasted chicken, a house specialty, and it didn't disappoint. I had the chicken pot pie, absolutely delicious, however huge, totally shareable. My husband had the filet medallions, done perfectly and so very tender.
I absolutely love the evening atmosphere at the club! There were so many appetizers to choose from, but the stuffed mushrooms were fantastic! The broken chicken and ripe were excellent, and their signature dish was superb! The staff was friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. I had no issues whatsoever, and everyone was so pleasant to talk to.
Always a pleasure to come to the great escape because of their food selection. Their ribs are one of the best in Illinois, fall off the bone great barbecue sauce it’s a total winner. You must also try their French fried shrimp order broasted chicken both are a complement to the ribs and are delicious. Fred Ronden soup one of the best tray you’ll love it. Enjoy

I met up with some old friends for a meal, and both the food and service were excellent. I had the boiled chicken, while my friend ordered the chicken pot pie, and both dishes were fantastic. I will definitely visit again!
