The Griffin - Reserva de mesa

First time for me visiting this establishment, at first glance, on the outside looks in need of updating. Trying to get inside from the carpark with a pram and disabled person is a no go, if there is one there was no disabled entrance open from the carpark, we had to go around to the front. Once inside we were met by a staff member who said there were a choice of tables we could sit at, we chose one of the booths. We sat down the staff member gave us the menus asked if we would like any drinks, which we ordered. After a short while we ordered our food. Food arrived fairly quickly. But baby decided he was going to wake up and wanted feeding, so mum took him out of the pram and pulled a chair...

I went to the Griffin to meet up with friends. We decided on this restaurant because it was easy to get to and equidistant for all of us. The menu was impressive - we had a lot of options to choose from and were all pleased with the delicious and generous portions of food. The sharing platter starter and the Korean Chicken were amazing. The prices were also very fair. Our waiter, Luke, was friendly and attentive the entire time. We will definitely be returning, as Arnie S. would say.

First time here as we were in the area and wanted to eat before our drive home. The place looks great, however the food was not. Waiter told us that afew options on the menu had sold out. We ordered steak and ale pie, it was dry and consisted of more fat than meat. We had hunters chicken, unfortunately the worst weve ever had, small, burnt/dry, lacked bbq sauce and cheese. Child had sausages, they enjoyed them. Staff were pleasent enough but we wont return.

Sam the manager is lovely, welcoming, friendly and chatty. Lara is fabulous who I’ve known for years. Savanna looked after us on the night, she was funny, helpful and delightful. Altogether the Griffin is a regular haunt for me to visit and I love it. Reserva una mesa ahora

Took son and 2 year old twins for lunch on Tuesday. Staff were very helpful with the girls and made sure that their food came promptly and provided crayons etc to keep them amused. Good range of meals on the menu.

We had a party if 40 after a funeral on Tuesday . The buffet and service was excellent, staff very polite and helpful. A gluten free plate was made up , on request before hand. A big thank you to you all

Lovely morning for breakfast with santa. Kids had a great time. Food and service excellent. Thank you to Demi and of course Father Christmas!
