The Griffin Inn

accidentally came over on the way back from an icy walk in ashdown forest. the handlein had a live piano, a roaring log burner and the best Sunday roast we had in a long time. we even have to sit near the British royalty while we enjoy the music! all boxes are crossed. astonishing pub. will surely return.

Awesome big garden with stunning views. Great food and drinks and wonderful friendly service from all the staff that we met. We stayed one night and hope to visit again soon as it was such a lovely experience.

Great afternoon and overnight stay at this lovely pub. Highly recommended! Breakfast superb and beautifully situated. Relaxing and great fun. Took about an hour to drive from SW London.
