Upon arrival, we noticed the bar was quite busy, likely with people waiting for tables. We were seated promptly and offered water while we looked over the menu. I found the prices a bit on the higher side, but I expected that and it didn’t bother me. Most steak dishes ranged from £20 to £30, with prices increasing for better cuts.
I ordered a T-bone steak cooked medium, and it was done perfectly and seasoned well—definitely one of the best steaks I've ever had. The chips were served in a cute mini basket, which was a nice touch, and they were delicious too!

I would recommend this steakhouse. The staff was enthusiastic and friendly and showed good product knowledge about the menu and the elements on it. It could be a bit expensive, but as a member to get a significant discount. The presentation of the foods was excellent and the quality of the meat is good. I had opted for Argentine steak which was tender with not much fat and juicy in the boiled medium. The interior is modern and the place itself had recently renovated. Overall, it is worth a visit.
Wonderful place, great prices and fantastic service. The food we had today was delicious and I enjoyed it thoroughly. Not very busy when we were in the restaurant but it was a Monday afternoon. The staff were very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. Blackhouse operate a Club Card that gives customers 40% off your food bill meaning that the two of us ate a 3 course meal with coffee and soft drinks for less than £60. Well worth it.
This is a fantastic dining spot with beautiful decor and a wonderful atmosphere. The food was absolutely exceptional, and we thoroughly enjoyed every course. A big thank you to the chefs! although open table had not passed our reservation, the restaurant found us an excellent table in the main restaurant. service was fast and efficient in consideration how busy the restaurant was for hogmanay. that was eating, statemen and also main courses. sauces were a bit cold, but not enough to send back.
This is an outstanding restaurant with exceptional food and service. I want to give a special thanks to our waitress, Callum, for the lovely gesture of welcoming my Polish family in their native language. This is my favorite spot in Glasgow, and the food is simply incredible!
Staff was overwhelmed with several large parties (graduation week perhaps)., so food and service took a long time (2 hours for the meal). Food was good and fortunately was a jazz singer so the time was enjoyable.
I've never been disappointed with this restaurant. my only complicity would be that sometimes it can be very loud. the menu is excellent. the service is exceptional and everyone is very welcome.

chips were stone cold lol, immediately detached and the bill taken, personal were beautiful, enjoyed the steak and man enjoyed his fish.
