The Grofield Inn - Reserva de mesa

The staff at the pub were wonderful and the atmosphere was pleasant. However, the food did not meet our expectations, especially the Eton mess dessert which was disappointing and overpriced. The apple crumble lacked dough and the apples were not cooked properly, resembling more of a sauce than a crumble. It's always difficult to leave a negative review, especially when the staff is so friendly, but the quality of the food was subpar.

This is a great pub with excellent and always friendly staff. The menu offers food for everyone, including vegetarian options. Andrew is doing a great job running this establishment. The vegetarian options are consistently available, catering to those who may not enjoy curries or spices. The average price per person is £40-50. I would rate the food and service both as a 5 out of 5. Keep up the good work!

Came back for the steak and ale pie and wasn't disappointed. Friendly warm welcome and busy atmosphere. We had a tiny table tucked in the corner so felt a bit hemmed in. Highly recommended the place and will definitely return. Parking: We parked opposite with a blue badge. Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5

Popped in late on a Friday night. Quiet which was good. Had a couple of pints of well kept Rhumney Gold.
