The Grounds Coffeehouse Bakery

Rachel is a friend of mine from highschool and I've been meaning to drop by if I was ever in the area (I'm from stouffville). Well, I had been kinda stranded in the area and decided to do some studying in her shop. And I'm so glad I did. It's a great shop, with a good amount of seating. The salted caramel bar has also made me feel things I haven't felt before. I yearn for more. I could easily gain pounds eating those all day, everyday. But she also has vegan nanaimo bars and oat bars, which I'm sure are tasty, so you don't have to get hooked on them caramel bars. Go. To. The. Grounds.

Since moving into the lofts in September, I have become a frequent visitor to this restaurant. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it the ideal spot to unwind with a coffee, drink, or tasty snack. I especially appreciate the variety of vegetarian and vegan options, as well as the recently added alcohol menu.

We have been many times and enjoy all the fresh soups and salads. Its a great place to have a nice lunch or coffee and a snack and catch up with my friends. Kind friendly staff always makes our visit so enjoyable! I wish we could get there more often!

The Grounds is incredible. The service is excellent and there are so many options to choose from. I especially love the variety of delicious and clean sweet treats. The raw bar is also mouthwatering. The atmosphere is great too! Reserva una mesa ahora

The soups, salads, and sandwiches at this restaurant are excellent. However, the standout item is definitely the peanut butter and chocolate squares. This is a fantastic cafe with a wide variety of food choices!

This is my favorite cafe in the region! We often have lunch, stop for a coffee and treat, order Rachel's cupcakes for events, and pretty much look for any reason to come in.
