The Grounds Coffeehouse + Bakery

My co worker and I were in town to prepare for the grand re opening of the Sobeys in Fonthill. We stayed at the Four Point Sheraton and stopped in this little place for breakfast. The lady behind the counter was super friendly. Loved her.my co worker and I shared a breakfast bagel that had egg frittata, Turkey and harvarti cheese. We also shared a yummy warm cinnamon bun with a latte. It was DELISH! Then we got a little peanut butter bar that was great. It had the right amount of PB an thin layer of chocolate. Just wonderful. I would certainly visit this little cafe again. The students that live in the lofts next door are very fortunate!

So happy that we found this café right near Brock University. The only other choices for coffee nearby are MacDs and Timmys, both of which are not an option for me (don't care for the taste of their coffee). The espresso-based drinks at The Grounds are delicious, and they have many tea and Italian soda choices as well. Sandwiches, salads, and baked goods are also delicious - their pear and Brie sandwich is one of our favourites.

In an unlikely location for those not Brock University staff or students, this small cafe offers wide choices for customers. Their coffee and tea menu were extensive. There was a case with sandwiches on croissants (with meat and vegetarian options), and many bars/cookies (with regular, "healthy", gluten-free, vegan, and raw options). I only had a black coffee and a chat with a friend. Both were great.

website has photos of delicious snacks. they stayed in to buy some and found out that they were not available for awhile. in this day and age why isn't the website up to date? otherwise nicer place, clean and personal are very friendly and helpful. Reserva una mesa ahora

The food and service here is consistent. Always fresh, affordable and yummy. My favorite is the Raw Bar, super good and healthy too. Definitely a stop worth making for a quick, healthy and affordable meal.

Good variety of menu items for a hotel restaurant. Food was served at the appropriate temperature. Service was quick and wait staff were efficient and polite. Price point was appropriate for food served.

Orange Cat is a high end coffee houseThe quality is incredible and prices are justified.
