We went to the Harbour Terrace to try the Parmi special on Tuesday night. We were going to book on the Monday but we were told in was not necessary. Arriving about 7:00 pm we sat ourselves at a table and went and got some menus from the counter. We heard there was a forty minute wait for meals so we decided to order even though we were waiting for a fourth person. Three of us ordered the $10.00 Parmi special and the fourth person ordered the Grilled Snapper. Just after 8:00 pm we noticed a staff member go to a table that arrived after us and asked one of those sitting there to re-order. When we arrived at 5.40 pm there was one person behind the bar and an oyster shucker. We waited about 10 mins to get to the barman because he was serving drinks to people who were in front of us. We not only wanted to order drinks - but as a table had been booked we wanted to sit down! Eventually it happened. The majority of guests were happy with their food, but for the two of us who ordered the pork belly....that's when things came unstuck! Our meals arrived as the others at our table had either finished or almost finished their meals. And it was awful. It was chewy and rubbery and the crackling was non existent. It was tough, sloppy skin - inedible! The portion size was smaller than usual...
After seeing all the advertised Specials daily on their Facebook page we had to come in & check it out for ourselves.The place is HUGE with a mixture of long tables, large booths & small bar tables with comfy booth bench seats. Would suit very large parties as well as couples. I would imagine this place would get packed at night.Lunch time was very quiet & we sat out on the enclosed balcony & enjoyed the harbour view. Chilli Mussel Special today was great! Good Size serve & perfect amount of chilli.Hubby had the Full Rack BBQ Pork Ribs & it was huge! He asked for a knife and the waitress gave us a bit of a strange look - we soon found out why when we touched it with the fork & it melted off...
had been occupied last Sunday night (around our first visit here. We went up the stairs to find a cave-like place, a bit like a rsl with the pokies. / there are seats for any person, but there were only four or five groups (over person) eating. also the pork ribs specially br>/ when it arrived, it was obvious that this meant: if pre-cooked and in its packing (always also the shopping bag) / it was a standard saddle of ribs, on some chips with lack of Koleslaw.

Were went for the $15 oysters in Wednesday. The oysters are really fresh and tasty. It's really a big eatery. Not massive ambience or anything but simple and clean. Good place for a cheap eat and drink. Staff were really nice too
Shared a seafood platter which had some really good well cooked seafood with a few average bits. A bit more care & picking better quality fish etc would make it worth coming back for.
Great Pork Ribs and Fish and Chips. Just perfect with the service of the polite staff and live music makes for a great evening. Would eat here again and again great value.
Great atmsophere & staff are great as well, Great place for couples & family for lunch & dinner. prices are good. Steak sandwich was good & so was the pot belly.

Had a great seafood platter and bottle of bubbly. Efficient service, big tv's if you like to watch sport. The music is a bit eclectic though.
