Great drinks. Reservations required (90 minute limit).Music was really loud, we were sat close to the stage so couldn't really talk. Kind of a strange setup, if this is a music venue the chairs are setup wrong yet if this is a craft bar, music is way too much. Would make more sense to book jazz trios or something other than a harmonica jam band.You also have to order at the bar, even when sat, unless you're at a large table? Not sure, some tables seemed to get service, some didn't. With the amount of servers walking around you'd be thinking they could at least check in or clear empties.Overall, having been to plenty of other bars and speakeasys, I don't understand this place. We absolutely love this place! It offers the best drinks in town and the entire experience is a blast. They also feature fantastic specials with various spirits, including rare finds like Pappy Van Winkle. We've visited several speakeasies, but this one is our favorite and always brings us back. The only downside is that it can get quite loud at times, especially when there's entertainment, which makes it hard to carry on a conversation. We prefer to go out for dinner first to chat, and then head here afterward for the drinks and the vibrant atmosphere. Give it a try—you won't be disappointed!
The last two times I’ve been to the hardware store has been disappointing. The male host with the hat is always abrasive. We had a reservation, and got booted from our table 25 minutes before we were supposed to due to them double booking. He got upset with us when we expressed we wanted to stay for the rest of the duration of our reservation. Disappointing for the cost of the cocktails.
This place is the Bees Knees! Great vibes, great cocktails and great staff! This continues to be a go to for us. I love the craft cocktails and the seasonal changes. I really encourage the reader to venture out and try a bartender whip up. (updates: still love this place. Love the uniquely crafted cocktails, the rotating menu, the music and special events)

Great speakeasy with a really fun and quirky theme. Love that you have to mention the passcode to enter, and that the lobby area is designed to look like a hardware store. We tried a few different drinks my favorite might have been the Prince Themed one. It was purple (of course! so super pretty, but also really delicious!
My wife and I visited this restaurant for the second time, and both experiences have been fantastic. The staff is attentive and efficient with orders, and the menu features an excellent selection of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. The atmosphere is wonderful, and the password for entry is a fun touch!
Live music was great. Had the hardware store martini and The Churchil gimlit, both were delicious. Staff offered to let us stay later and made up a special table for us to do so. They were playing 007 movies in the background tonight, which also made me very happy. I'll be back as soon as possible.
I loved this place. I'm pretty picky when it comes to mixed drinks and they nail them. Loved the Sinatra Manhattan, the ambience, and the service was fantastic. Great bourbon list too.
