Food very good price( promo night on Weds) cheap drinks which is a bonus! Be advised......book as it gets very busy! Even though a 45min plus wait for food as they had a staff member go sick, The Chef of one did a cracking job! Plus the Bar Team done a thorough job in explaining the delay,but that didn't put me off my dining experience... they deserve praise as well! GreeneKing need to have more community sports bars like These as its bodes well for everyone!
Being part of the Greene King chain, you can expect a certain level of consistency at this restaurant. The quality of the food is excellent for the price and we have no complaints. We highly recommend the build your own burger option - it's a great deal! The service was good, with helpful staff and quick, hot food. Keep in mind that dogs are only allowed in the beer garden, but there are plenty of tables and umbrellas available.
We had an amazing time celebrating a special occasion at this restaurant. A big thank you to Sue, Rees, and the rest of the staff for providing us with a fun-filled day. The drinks and food were delicious and enjoyable. The staff were all very friendly and the entertainment was fantastic, keeping us there longer than expected. This local village pub is highly recommended for families.
I am a wedding photographer who recently has the privilege of shooting a wedding at this wonderful venue, the staff and food were excellent. The wedding was wonderful and the ceremony room had really wonderful light to shoot (this is always a dream for a photographer) and was such a wonderful day, would highly recommend to any couple looking to book their wedding. fabulous Christmas dinner our group of 13 this year. beautiful festive tables great worth, generous and tasty platters. thanks to all the very welcoming staff (and those in the kitchen,) but especially thanks to Georgia that went that extra mile to make a beautiful evening in an extra special. can not wait until next year!
The staff was extremely friendly and attentive to my needs. This was my first time at the pub, but it definitely won't be my last. It may just become my new favorite spot. Many thanks for making me feel welcome, they have earned a loyal customer.
